Laurel Launches Mock Trial Team

Laurel's Middle School Mock Trial team is new this year and teaches students about the law while building teamwork and public-speaking skills.

Over 20 girls have enthusiastically joined the team, which kicked off against University School in November, arguing the case People v. Lane regarding the 1st Amendment. The following week, Laurel then hosted Hathaway Brown for a second trial arguing the same case.
