With parents’ help, the LSPA works to enrich the Laurel School community in many different ways.

Support, Development and Education of the Laurel School Community

  • Faculty & staff appreciation events throughout the year
  • Fund division-based spirit events
  • Host LCRG events, forums, and special guest speakers
  • Gift school jackets to all 9th Grade students
  • End-of-year and class holiday parties
  • Welcome coffee for parents
  • Staff Admissions events
  • Run Book Swap
  • Plan and run an all-school parent party
  • Host new incoming families
  • Represent Laurel in Cleveland Consortium of Independent Schools (CCIS)
  • Support Grades 5 and 8 Promotions
  • Support service projects for various local non-profits
  • Humanitas Award
  • Hospitality and flowers for events throughout the year
  • Special events and treats for all grades including during exam week
  • Assist with the following special events:
    • Back to School Ice Cream Social
    • Green & White Day
    • After Prom
    • Dance chaperones
    • Upper School dance planning
    • Class breakfasts
    • Song Contest breakfast
    • Field trip chaperoning
    • Kindergarten Iron Girl
