Channel 3 Features NEO Youth Climate Summit

WKYC Channel 3 featured the April 14 NEO Youth Climate Summit at the CWRU Think[box], which Laurel Environmental Justice (EJ) Semester students organized along with Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb’s Office of Sustainability, Global Shapers Cleveland, and many other community sponsors.

The resulting story highlights this first-ever in-person Youth Climate Summit and how youth can work to become changemakers. Laurel is accepting applications for our next EJ Semester next Spring where students work hand-in-hand with community organizations throughout Northeast Ohio to make real change within our local environment. The program is open to any 10th and 11th-grade girls from any school in Northeast Ohio.
