Maegan Ruhlman Cross '03

Mrs. Cross joined Laurel in 2009 and has worked in various capacities throughout her time here including as an Admissions Officer, Development Coordinator, Middle School Softball Coach, Assistant Director of Alumnae and Director of the Laurel Fund. Currently, she serves as Director of Development, connecting those passionate about Laurel School and their experience here with ways to give back and support the Laurel girls of today. 

Mrs. Cross is a Laurel alumna, Class of 2003, and enjoyed her nine years here as a student so much that she could think of nothing better than returning to her alma mater to support the school in its mission to inspire each girl to fulfill her promise and better the world. After graduating from Laurel, Mrs. Cross attended the College of Charleston where she was a member of the Varsity Sailing Team and earned a B.A. in Elementary Education, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Following college graduation, Mrs. Cross returned to Cleveland (and Laurel), while also focusing on her sailing career which led her to an Olympic Women’s Match Racing campaign, culminating in the 2011 Olympic trials. 

In addition to her B.A., Mrs. Cross holds an M.B.A. with a specialization in finance from Ohio University. She is a Trustee on the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Foundation Board and sits on the Board of Directors of Preformed Line Products. Mrs. Cross and her husband have two children in the Early Childhood School at Laurel.
