  DAY: Tuesday – Thursday, 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
  LOCATION: Lyman Campus
  RECITALS: Winter (December) and Spring (May) with specific dates forthcoming. Recitals begin at 5:00 p.m.
  PRICING:
  

  • $1,220 for weekly 30-minute lessons*
  • $1,800 for weekly 45-minute lessons*
  • $2,350 for weekly 60-minute lessons*

  
  

  The Music Academy is a year-long after-school program. Through the Music Academy, Laurel students and members of the community may sign up for weekly private music instruction. The program consists of 32 private lessons and two recitals. All lessons take place at Laurel’s Lyman Campus between the hours of 3:30 and 6:00 PM. Laurel students may attend Supervised Play or the Middle School Homework Room free of charge prior to their lesson time. If you are not otherwise enrolled in After School at Laurel and would like your child to remain at school after their music lesson has concluded, an after-activity drop-in fee of $15 may apply.

   

  Laurel School Music Academy offers private instruction in the following instruments:

  • Viola (choose traditional or Suzuki instruction)
  • Violin (choose traditional or Suzuki instruction)
  • Flute and Recorder
  • Piano
  • Voice

  * Enrollment for Music Academy is for the full year or by semester. The prices above reflect the full-year cost.
  
  Lesson slots are filled by instructors on a first-come, first served basis. The deadline to enroll for the Fall Semester of Music Academy is September 9, 2024.

Once you have completed your registration, we will reach out to you to discuss which instrument your child is interested in and put you in contact with the appropriate instructor to schedule a day and time for your child's lesson.
