Why a Girls' School?
State-of-the-art Academic Practice
The Center for Research on Girls (CRG) at Laurel School conducts, implements and disseminates research on the best practices in educating girls and young women. CRG (1) develops progressive educational initiatives and curricula based on cutting-edge academic research, (2) sponsors original research studies on the development and education of girls and (3) connects faculty and parents with well-established, meaningful research on girls and their education. CRGatLaurel
The National Coalition of Girls' Schools is a leading advocate for girls' education that believes that girls' schools are the most powerful, transformative learning environments for girls. NCGS is an association of girls' independent and public, day and boarding schools across the United States, with affiliate partners in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
