Lake Library
The Lake Library serves the Pre-Primary and Primary schools, preschool through grade four. Completely renovated in 2002, the bright, welcoming space boasts state-of-the-art technology and an excellent library collection. The outstanding and up-to-date collection of books and instructional materials are tailored to the needs of Laurel's Pre-Primary students and Primary girls, their families and their teachers -- a collection of professional books for use by both faculty and parents. The librarian and teachers work together to teach information literacy skills and to ensure that students become enthusiastic, independent and effective library users.
Crile Library
The Crile Library and Ruhlman Resource Center serves Middle School and Upper School students, grades 5 through 12. With nearly 15,000 square feet of space, the Library contains a state-of-the-art communications system. Using the laptops from the library, students may access their files and connect to the Internet from anywhere in the facility. Small group study rooms contain equipment to produce high-quality audio-visual presentations.
